Bio

  • Brief profile

    Associate Professor Christiane Miosga studied teaching and special education with a focus on music education. As an academic speech therapist and coach, she has many years of professional experience in the field of speech, language and voice therapy and speech training. Since 2001, she has been working as an academic counsellor and substitute professor at the Institute for Special Education at Leibniz University Hanover, Department of Speech-Language Therapy and Inclusive Education. From 2016 to 2017, she was a substitute professor at the Institute for Special Education at Leibniz University Hanover, Department of Speech-Language Therapy and Inclusive Education. From 2016 to 2017, she was a substitute professor at the Institute for Special Education at Leibniz University Hanover, Department of Speech-Language Therapy and Inclusive Education. From 2016 to 2017, she was a substitute professor at the Institute for Special Education at Leibniz University Hannover, Department of Speech-Language Therapy and Inclusive Education. From 2016 to 2017, she was a substitute professor at the Institute for Special Education at Leibniz University Hannover, Department of From 2016 to 2017, she held the professorship in "Speech Science and Phonetics" at MLU Halle. In May 2016, she was appointed adjunct professor. She currently heads the "Language – Interaction – Participation" research group at SpeechLab. Her work focuses on conversation research and the analysis of multimodal interaction, vocal communication (prosody and habitus, voice training, theory and therapy for voice and speech flow disorders) and the didactics of voice and speech, in particular professional speech in schools, daycare centres and therapy.
