The Hochschul-Ambulanz creates innovative platform to integrate teaching, research and clinical practice.

With a focus on:

- Stuttering

- Voice

- Neurology

- Cultural and Linguistic Diversity

the field of speech, language and communication is covered.

 

This creates a collaborative environment in which children, adolescents, , adults and professionals outside the university can work together with students and staff from the Institute of Special Education and non-university cooperation partners in the context of speech-language therapy and language education.

 

In this regard, interventions for children, adolescents, and adults are offered, as well as counselling, supervision and further training for parents, educational and medical professionals in therapeutic and inclusive contexts.

Our services are aimed at: 

  • Students of Speech-Language Therapy and Inclusive Education
  • Individuals  with speech, language and voice disorders
  • Family members and caregivers.
  • Educational and rehabilitation institutions (such as schools, early childhood education and care institutions , rehabilitation clinics and care facilities)
  • Professionals in education, therapy and medicine.

Students receive theory-based practical training, while those affected and institutions receive professional advice, support and therapy based on the latest scientific findings and research results. The mutual transfer of practice, teaching and research is promoted through links to national and international research projects and collaborations within the Department of Speech-Language Therapy and Inclusive Education, as well as to the department's SpeechLab.
